Thanks for your help. I thought VMotion was utilized to maintain HA. Ok. So correct me if I have this right now. HA will cause down time because the machine will be restarted. VMotion is not for when a host goes down unexpectedly but when you need to move it over to another host to do work on one of the hosts? Or can VMotion be used in the event of a host failure and there will be no downtime?
